if we look at the later life,
we had achieved, but we can't carry this achievement to our burial..

during living process,
we study hard, we work hard, we earned hard..
but do we really enjoy it?

u tired yourself out, squeezed yourself to the maximum, exploit the fullest potential, conquering all challenges, performed the greatest power...

u enjoyed.. u felt a sense of achievement + confidence..

but in the end, it's just a name in memorial to this huge planet..

then the cycles repeat again..

on contrary, if we don't push ourselves to limit, we don't feel good, no confidence, very vulnerable, like an empty shell.. and we'll be wasting away this period of life..

no one wants to lead this kind of lifestyle.

but really.. thinking back....

so what if i really felt i had achieved my goals, my dreams, my aim in life?

i'm just gaining my personal commitment to life..which can't be shared with others..

one year ago..

23rd January 2010

start of my new phase of life

departure - separation - grief - remembrance - memories

definitely it's something i won't ever forget

it's hard to forget whilst still visibly remembered .

during this one year..

learnt new things

change & adapt to surrroundings & life

sometimes still quite hard to accept the fact that she had left

but looking back into reality, i need to face the truth in life

& continue living with the lost

on surface the smile, laughter & happiness are minimal

deep beneath the sorrow, sadness & grief seems so vast .

one year has gone..

i have been trying to capture & not to let go any part of my memories from the day i've born

every tiny bits of memories about us

every single actions & words she said

every little care & concern she showered me

every thing, every thing, every thing

i'll always keep in mind, not to miss any single parts out of my memory

as for now, this is all that i have left with about her .

one year later probably..

similar feelings might still be uderlying

thoughts could have diminished

but lost is something that can't be parted .

now he is everything that i have in life

& i am his everything in life

i hope he won't feel lonely (as how i felt)

i hope he would get used to new people entering into our life

i don't mind if he has a companion (i'm understanding the need of it)

i want him to be happy, lively & healthy as years goes by .

changes always happen for a reason.

people only realised something is different when abrupt changes is noticeable..
after realising that something is wrong or what had went wrong
& started questioning what gone wrong?
but actually

at the very initial.. we didn't take note of the meticulous detail of what is actually happening!

AND in addition..
similar circumstance/incident had happened quite a number of times
that lead one to magnify their attitude so as to reveal the changes more visibly to others.

we tend to miss out certain details happening beside us when other 'external' factors had attracted our attention.
only until when BIG changes occurred.. then we'll realised something is not right.
but actually many of times, there were signs appearing before that.
It's just that it might be too insignificant to be noticeable
or probably too insensitive to be taken into account?

I wonder if sometimes things hasn't been happening like that, probably it would still be intact.

sometimes reflecting back on my decisions to changes that happened.

on surface it may seems that acceptance is acknowledging to the situation,
however it could be simply becuz it's a question with only an answer.

since her departure, I had been in a period of solitary, grief & dilemma, but not withdrawn.
adaptation to changes in lifestyle, changes to my pursuit, realisation about perceptions towards things & people..

thinking that " able to wake up in every morning, is considered a chance to having a second life.. a chance to live for another day in this world. and shall be grateful for having this opportunity. "

stage 2 occurred swiftly during process of adjustment in stage 1 : a new character entered into life

in reflect to this occurrence, I believe that when some thing has gone, you might recoup from another thing. It's a give & take, sacrifice & gain.

I'm still shifting & conforming to the change even till now. This is something that does not happens only to me but involving another partner and people around me.

I realised it's not easy to achieve stabilism and harmonious in two.
even though if communication & thinking are somehow alike, there'll be elements that disintegrate the progression & process.

I thought my temper is controllable, but I found that it's my mood that changes so rapidly which affect my words, thoughts, decision, cognition and action. Definitely what triggered to my change in mood is the environment, and most importantly is the person beside you that causes this change.. sometimes is the action, or might be the words said, or the ideas portrayed. AND I somehow extensively disagree on ' mood change is due to biological functioning in body '!!!

for myself, I knew very well is becuz of the trigger of external factors leading to my change in mood.

I always had problems expressing myself... in words.
and I think it's not that I had difficulties in expressing my thoughts, but perhaps I did not want to reveal.

It could be tough for another partner if my expressions aren't clear but it's something that has build in a person on her way of speaking, sharing & interacting.

there were many times I hope for certain actions, longing for the expectation.
I know if I don't express what I want, people wouldn't know.
however, in the end, I still didn't portray out my thoughts and desire. I let it pass. or I should say I pushed the words back into my mouth.

It's not about the courage that I couldn't express myself well but it's that partial introvert character that lies within me.
My action actually wanted very much to show and speak up my thoughts but it's my mind that diverted this thought & I always end up comforting myself by thinking that I should not expect so much but accept what is shown from another partner.

Exactly like how I'm feeling right now..
I'm feeling lethargic becuz of my severe flu condition that strikes me again!
& I was hoping for some comfort..
I mentally preserved myself to complete my piano teachings today even though I knew my body is turning on the red light signal, telling me to rest.
I rushed back home after teachings & laid down, & then I looked around my space..suddenly feeling quite lonely, having no one around in house & with that bad condition of my body, I really hope someone could be beside me. At that moment I really hope he could be beside me. But it turned out to be only walls & sounds from television. I went unconscious after that & woke up around 7. The darkness in the house added on to my loneliness. I kept checking on my phone, hoping to receive a concern from him, a call or a text to ask if I'm feeling better.

but

until now, I hasn't heard anything. no message.

I very much wanted to see him & call him but then thoughts came across my mind..
' I shouldn't call him..I'll wait for his text & call of concern "
I know it's a negative action that I shouldn't do becuz I should just call to him, who knows he might be waiting for my call..
but does he know that I'm waiting for his call as well?
I thought he would take initiative to ask me if I'm feeling better now......

but I waited
& waited
& waited

maybe he's thinking that I might be still sleeping & would call him when I woke up.
but on my side, I just kept waiting.. hoping to recieve a little concern that is initiated by him & not when until I call out to him & then hear him asking " are you feeling better now ? "

I wonder if my thinking is inappropraite in this way or will my action of not calling him hurt him?

i don't know..
i was just hoping to hear some initiated concern from him, & without me calling to his phone first.

It's another new year..

actually it doesn't really makes a difference whether another year had passed,
we're living day after day and counting in every single days of our life.

Well... lets just say continuing from 2008 instead!

indeed I enjoyed spending days outside of my usual boundary.
A sense of relaxation & unexpected row of surprises tends to follow you.

Incredibly,
it's interesting to know that another part of world seems so close to you
yet it's very different from the place we stood.
& you'll say isn't that obvious?

End of the year 2008,
I went to KL again, it's just my 2 time visiting back that city and I mentioned the word 'again'.
Anyway, X'mas eve counting down at that unexcited place is quite an eye-opener to me!

Don't even mention about the fancy street lights or decoration or even the atmosphere there
that can lighten up the X'mas mood!
Because it's really nothing much comparing to the vibrant city that will hang thousands of different colour of balls around the street lamps in Orchard Road.

Straight to the point. People there count down X'mas & similarly a visit to the nightlife places is inevitable..BUT!
the night clubs there are totally .... ... in-describe-able!

1st stop @ an alfresco pub
a handy of foreigners there, but not forgetting some dark & difficult-to-spot figures under the moonlight. It's common to accidentally bump onto them, no offense here.
most people there preferred brewed alcohol compared to hard liquor. Carlsberg in bottles are hot catches!

2nd stop @ a very dim enclosed club in a shopping complex
majority were uncles & aunties, middle aged adults or can refer to as older people.
discovery NO 1: MUSIC played were very distinctive with 1 continuous loop of EXCESSIVE HEAVY DRUM & BASS and 1 melodious vocal.. SOUND can vibrate your heart to pump more blood because the BASS FREQUENCY IS FAR TOO MUCH!!
* i wonder what speakers they used to project such an "enthralling" music!
discovery NO 2: WHOLE AREA CAN CONSIDERED AS TOTAL DARKNESS. all I can see were colourful light sticks moving around the vicinity.
discovery NO 3: NICOTINE & TAR smell steaming EVERY CORNER. anyway who cares there, it's not S'pore!
discovery NO 4: about 50 year old aunty sitting beside me was shaking her head rhythmically & continuously for about maybe 30 minutes. Shaking left to right NON STOP!
* guessing why? SPOT ON! she's high on dope.
discovery NO 5: an uncle at age around 40 came over to the table, took a sip from a JUG OF ICE without any LIQUID contain inside. After 3 minutes when I turn over & look at him, his head was on the table supporting by his arms beneath & has the similar action of the 50 year old aunty. LEFT & RIGHT SHAKING.
discovery NO 6: A chewy Gum is passed to me.

x'mas night is exhausting. Not my body physically but only to my ears & eyes.
EYES capture too many fascinating images, EARS being busted by the 2nd stop club.

unforgettable not memorable.
