continuation of 2008

It's another new year..

actually it doesn't really makes a difference whether another year had passed,
we're living day after day and counting in every single days of our life.

Well... lets just say continuing from 2008 instead!


indeed I enjoyed spending days outside of my usual boundary.
A sense of relaxation & unexpected row of surprises tends to follow you.

Incredibly,
it's interesting to know that another part of world seems so close to you
yet it's very different from the place we stood.
& you'll say isn't that obvious?

End of the year 2008,
I went to KL again, it's just my 2 time visiting back that city and I mentioned the word 'again'.
Anyway, X'mas eve counting down at that unexcited place is quite an eye-opener to me!

Don't even mention about the fancy street lights or decoration or even the atmosphere there
that can lighten up the X'mas mood!
Because it's really nothing much comparing to the vibrant city that will hang thousands of different colour of balls around the street lamps in Orchard Road.

Straight to the point. People there count down X'mas & similarly a visit to the nightlife places is inevitable..BUT!
the night clubs there are totally .... ... in-describe-able!

1st stop @ an alfresco pub
a handy of foreigners there, but not forgetting some dark & difficult-to-spot figures under the moonlight. It's common to accidentally bump onto them, no offense here.
most people there preferred brewed alcohol compared to hard liquor. Carlsberg in bottles are hot catches!

2nd stop @ a very dim enclosed club in a shopping complex
majority were uncles & aunties, middle aged adults or can refer to as older people.
discovery NO 1: MUSIC played were very distinctive with 1 continuous loop of EXCESSIVE HEAVY DRUM & BASS and 1 melodious vocal.. SOUND can vibrate your heart to pump more blood because the BASS FREQUENCY IS FAR TOO MUCH!!
* i wonder what speakers they used to project such an "enthralling" music!
discovery NO 2: WHOLE AREA CAN CONSIDERED AS TOTAL DARKNESS. all I can see were colourful light sticks moving around the vicinity.
discovery NO 3: NICOTINE & TAR smell steaming EVERY CORNER. anyway who cares there, it's not S'pore!
discovery NO 4: about 50 year old aunty sitting beside me was shaking her head rhythmically & continuously for about maybe 30 minutes. Shaking left to right NON STOP!
* guessing why? SPOT ON! she's high on dope.
discovery NO 5: an uncle at age around 40 came over to the table, took a sip from a JUG OF ICE without any LIQUID contain inside. After 3 minutes when I turn over & look at him, his head was on the table supporting by his arms beneath & has the similar action of the 50 year old aunty. LEFT & RIGHT SHAKING.
discovery NO 6: A chewy Gum is passed to me.


x'mas night is exhausting. Not my body physically but only to my ears & eyes.
EYES capture too many fascinating images, EARS being busted by the 2nd stop club.

unforgettable not memorable.
